One of my very favorite events of summer is Ladies Day on the Bay where my gal pals and I pile into a boat and cruise to Annapolis to lunch at Pussers right there on the docks. Their signature drink is a Painkiller and you can order it with various numbers of shots. It’s delicious and killer.

2 oz. Pusser’s Rum
4 oz. pineapple juice
1 oz. orange juice
1 oz. cream of coconut
Garnish: finely grated nutmeg and a pineapple wedge

Add ingredients to a shaker of ice and shake vigorously.
Strain into a hurricane glass or snifter over crushed ice.
Garnish with nutmeg and pineapple.
Serve with a straw.
