The Fourth of July at Henderson Country Club is a big deal. Everyone, ages one to one hundred, shows up for fun and games. If you’re one of Lolly DuVal’s family or friends you’re showing off one of her latest House of DuVal creations. Harry wants to keep Em and her gal pals happy with something cold and tasty.
Searching the internet he found this perfect concoction on The Salty Marshmallow.

6 cups cubed watermelon
1-2 cups sugar
1 750 bottle of white wine
1 cup vodka
½ cup fresh lime juice (that’s more than one lime for sure.)
1-2 cups water or sparkling water (optional)

Add watermelon and sugar to your blender and whirl.
Strain the results into a large pitcher.
Add the wine, vodka, and fresh lime juice and stir well.
Taste the sangria. If the watermelon flavor is too strong add 1-2 cups of water.
Chill sangria for 1 hour. Garnish with extra watermelon cubes and lime slices.
